Literacy & Numeracy Assessments Jan 2026
As part of the provincial graduation requirements, students are required to complete the Ministry of Education’s Literacy and Numeracy Assessments. These assessments are designed to evaluate foundational skills that are essential for success beyond secondary school.
Please note that successful completion of these assessments is mandatory for graduation. Students should ensure they are prepared and scheduled to write their assessments within the designated timelines.
All assessments will be written in the Abby Senior Library Learning Commons. Students will be scheduled to write their Literacy 10/12 Assessments with their English 10/12 class and their Numeracy 10 assessments with their Math 10 class.
Students should show up 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. All assessments are written electronically. Students writing the Numeracy 10 assessment will have a written component and should be prepared with a pencil, eraser, and calculator.
