Awards, Bursaries and Scholarships

While Abbotsford Senior Secondary School provides general information for scholarships, bursaries, and awards, students are strongly encouraged to verify information by going directly to websites of each post-secondary institution and other sites listed on the ASSS website. Students who require additional support and/or have questions can see their school counsellor or Steph Doan in the counselling centre.

Abbotsford Community Foundation Awards

Application Deadline: End of February

Award: Many ($250-$3000)

Criteria:

Applicants must be graduating from the Abbotsford School District
Applicants must me a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Residence
Demonstrate financial need and/or volunteer experience and/are academic achievement and/or be applying to a specific program within a college/university

District Authority Awards

Application Deadline: November

Award: $1250

Criteria:

Complete a 100 hour project in a specialty area
