Dry Grad Lock-in: 

  • Date: April 24 2026
  • Dry Grad is a parent-run / school admin approved evening that brings the grads of 2026 together in a safe, inclusive, drug- and alcohol-free evening.
  • Guests are not permitted to attend this event; this is only for Abby Grads of 2026.

District Dogwood Scholarship Presentations:

Convocation Rehearsal / Grad BBQ / Cap & Gown Pickup / Yearbook Pickup / Abby Middle Grad Walk: 

  • Wednesday, June 17 2026
  • Mandatory for all grads; pick up your grad pack (includes cap, gown, tassel, and 2 complimentary tickets for convocation.) Then enjoy a BBQ lunch on us, grab your yearbook, and walk through Abby Middle for the Grad Walk!
  • All outstanding fees must be paid prior to picking up your grad pack and yearbook.
  • Extra convocation tickets are on sale at this time for $10 each. You can pay in the office cash or debit. No cheques, no SchoolCashOnline.

Grand March

  • Thursday June 11th
  • at Abby Senior (If you're attending prom later this evening, you are required to be at the Grand March.)
  • Red carpet arrival: 3:15-4:15pm
  • All students in the Jungle Gym by 4:15pm to line up for the grand march.
  • Drivers should enter through the north gate by Abby Arts Centre
  • This is an opportunity for grads friends and family to enjoy a photo-taking opportunity prior to the grads boarding the buses for Prom.

Prom: Thursday, June 11th. 

  • Where: Newlands Golf Course (Langley)
  • Cost: $130
    • *Ticket sales will be April 27 - May 8
    • *Tickets will be available for purchase on School Cash Online.
    • *Guest passes:
      • Cost $150.00 CASH ONLY (not purchased on SchoolCashOnline)
      • Deposit $200 (refundable if there are no issues with grad guests)
        • Required for non -Abby grads & non -Abby students.
      • See Mr. Schroeder in the office for guest forms May 11 - 15.
      • Guests may be asked to complete a Criminal Record Check.
      • There is an age limit for guests. Guests must not be under Grade 11 or older than Grad 2025
  • Prom includes a formal dinner.
  • Table sign -up will be done June 1 - 5 with Ms. Caines
    • *All school fees must be paid in order to be assigned a table
  • NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 15TH. Please contact a member of the admin / counselling team if you have any questions.

Convocation: June 22 2026 11:30am (confirmed... BUT **If the Abby Canucks do well again this year, we will be working around their schedule**)

  • Where: Rogers Forum (formerly called Abbotsford Entertainment Centre)
  • Time: 11:30am
  • Cost: $60.00 Graduation fee which includes your cap, gown, tassel, keepsake portfolio, photo, and two tickets
  • Extra tickets will be available at grad rehearsal day for $10 each. Don't panic, the venue has room for everyone. There is no limit to extra purchase tickets.
  • All students with the required graduations credits will walk across the stage in their cap and gown to receive their School Leaving Certificate.
  • Note Your actual Dogwood Diploma will be available in mid-October. These can be picked up from the main office. We will post when the Dogwoods are available.

We will continue to use this space to communicate any updates.  As well, please ensure your contact information is updated in MyEd as we will be utilizing School Messenger to send communication home.
